Terms of Service

1. The Service

WeVille is a group-scheduling tool. You can create events, mark availability, and manage shared lists and decisions. The Service is provided on an as-is basis.

2. Accounts

Accounts are optional. If you create one:

• You are responsible for keeping your password confidential.
• One person per account; account-sharing is not permitted.
• We may suspend an account that violates these Terms or applicable law.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful purposes.
• Attempt to access another user's data.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service except where applicable law forbids the restriction.
• Probe the Service for vulnerabilities except via a coordinated disclosure to support@weville.app.
• Send automated traffic exceeding the published rate limits.
• Post content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, or infringes another person's intellectual property.

4. User content

You retain ownership of any content you submit (event titles, comments, items you add to a bring-list, etc.). By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host and display it as needed to operate the Service. We do not use your content for advertising or training models.

5. Pricing

WeVille is free during early access. Paid plans, subscription terms, auto-renewal disclosures, and refund policies will be published here before any paid plans go live.

6. Payment

WeVille does not currently process payments. When paid plans go live, payments will be processed by Stripe and you will be asked to agree to Stripe's terms at checkout.

7. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may terminate or suspend an account that materially breaches these Terms; we will give notice and an opportunity to cure where reasonable.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “AS IS” without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim or (b) $100. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, even if we were advised of the possibility.

Some jurisdictions don't allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitations of liability, so some of the above may not apply.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from (a) your breach of these Terms, (b) your content, or (c) your violation of any law or third party right.

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any dispute shall be brought in the state or federal courts of New York County, NY, and both parties consent to personal jurisdiction there.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be emailed to account holders 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
